| Ctrl+Shift+R | Starts a recording with the last settings, or stops the one running |
| Ctrl+Shift+P | Pauses and resumes the recording |
| Ctrl+Shift+X | Marks a retake, while a take is recording |
| Ctrl+Shift+M | Marks a chapter, while a take is recording |
In the editor

| Left and Right | One frame back or forward; with Shift, one second |
| J and L | One second back or forward; with Shift, five seconds |
| Home and End | Start and end of the video |
| I and O | Start and end of the stretch for a Short |

| Ctrl+S | Save now (Ciakko also saves by itself) |

| Del | Removes the selected caption or annotation |

On the timeline
Click the timeline first:

| + and - | Zoom the timeline in and out |
| Enter | Accept the selected proposal |
| Del | Reject the selected proposal, or delete the selection |
| Ctrl+mouse wheel | Zoom the timeline |
| Shift+drag on the ruler | Mark the stretch for a Short |
In the Library
